Yes. 1Password is designed with multiple layers of security to protect your data. Your vaults are end-to-end encrypted using your account password and a unique Secret Key created on your device. 1Password Individual is designed for one person, while Families gives up to five people their own accounts and private vaults. A Families account also includes shared vaults for household information and organizer controls for managing members and helping them recover their accounts. No. Each family member has a Private vault that only they can access. Families can also create shared vaults for household logins, documents, and other information they choose to share. A shared vault can include the entire family or only selected people. Family organizers can manage members, vault access, and account recovery, but they cannot see items stored in another member’s Private vault.

Yes. 1Password has apps for Mac, Windows, Linux, iPhone, iPad, watchOS and Android, along with extensions for major browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Brave, and Safari. Your encrypted data synchronizes across your signed-in devices, so your information is available wherever you use 1Password. Yes. 1Password can import passwords from common browsers and password managers, including Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, LastPass, Bitwarden, Dashlane, Keeper, and others. The exact process and the information transferred depend on where your data is coming from. Every 1Password account comes with a special Emergency Kit designed to help you get back in if you’ve forgotten your account password or Secret Key.
