Chief Information Security Officer

Mike Blacker is the Chief Information Security Officer at 1Password, responsible for protecting the company’s products, customer data, and operations while enabling productivity across the business. Mike brings his security leadership experience to strengthen 1Password's commitment to security, privacy, and transparency.

Prior to his role as CISO, Mike served as VP of Product Security, GRC, and Privacy at 1Password. Before joining 1Password, Mike was Vice President of Security Operations at GitHub, keeping the home of over 100 million developers safe. Previously, he spent 16 years at the National Security Agency in several technical and organizational leadership roles.

Mike holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys reading historical nonfiction and spending time with his wife and four children in Virginia.
