Jeannie De Guzman

Chief Operating Officer

Jeannie De Guzman is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at 1Password. She leads corporate development, driving M&A strategy and expanding the 1Password ecosystem with strategic partnerships. She also aligns cross-functional teams to find and execute on business opportunities while ensuring the voice of the customer remains central to the 1Password’s strategy. In her role, Jeannie ensures the company has the operational infrastructure to scale efficiently, enter new markets, and drive growth in the cybersecurity space.

Before becoming COO, Jeannie was 1Password’s first CFO, joining the company on the heels of their Series A funding in 2020. She built the finance function and led the company through its Series B and C funding rounds, including a $620 million USD raise, the largest in Canadian history.

Prior to 1Password, Jeannie was VP of Finance at BlueCat Networks, where she expanded the finance team and oversaw sales operations. BlueCat was acquired by Madison Dearborn Partners in 2017 for $400 million CAD. Before that, she was Senior Manager of Corporate Finance at OpenText, Canada’s largest publicly traded software company, where she oversaw corporate treasury functions. She began her career as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG and also held roles at Ontario Power Generation.

Jeannie, her husband and two kids live in Toronto.
