David Faugno
CEO
David Faugno is the Chief Executive Officer of 1Password, a role he assumed in 2024. He joined the company in 2023 as President and Chief Operating Officer, bringing more than 30 years of global financial and business operations experience.
Prior to 1Password, David was a Venture Partner at Accel. Before that, he served as Executive Vice President — as Chief Financial Officer and in the Office of the CEO — at Qualtrics, the leader in experience management. His earlier career includes CFO of Barracuda Networks, Senior Director of Corporate Finance – M&A at Cisco Systems, and sales and finance roles at AT&T, including CFO of AT&T EMEA.
David's track record has earned him significant recognition, including Francisco Partners' Portfolio CFO of the Year in 2012 and Silicon Valley Business Journal's CFO of the Year in 2013. He holds a degree from Rutgers University and an MBA from Duke University.
