Passkeys don’t need to be memorized, and there’s no such thing as a “weak” passkey, because the customer's device generates the underlying private and public keys on their behalf.

Passkeys can’t be phished like a traditional password because the underlying private key never leaves the customer's device. That makes them resistant to social engineering scams, too.

Passkeys aren’t just secure – they’re incredibly convenient to use. You don’t have to manually create a password, and there’s nothing to type out or memorize. When you want to sign in, you simply verify your identity using biometrics – like Touch ID or Windows Hello – or by entering your device’s password or PIN.

Passage supports all kinds of passwordless authentication including passkeys, magic links, and SMS or email login codes to reduce friction and ensure users can always sign in.

Passkey Complete, as the name implies, is an all-in-one auth solution that includes user management. The login experience defaults to passkeys and falls back to other passwordless methods.
